These terms cover this website and the classes, sessions, and materials offered through it. They are meant to be read, not skimmed past.
Who you are agreeing with
This site and the services described on it are provided by Hands On AI Lab LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. “We” and “us” below mean that company. Using this site means these terms apply to you.
What this site is
It is the public face of a small training business: schedules, descriptions, a weekly column, and ways to get in touch. Everything here is offered for general education. It is not legal, financial, medical, tax, or professional advice, and nothing on it creates a professional relationship on its own.
Classes and sessions
Community classes are published with a date, a place, and a description, and registration is encouraged because seating is limited. Details can change when a venue or partner changes them; the event page is the current version. Paid work — private sessions, organizational workshops, and integration support — is arranged in writing beforehand, and the scope, price, and cancellation terms agreed there take precedence over anything stated generally on this site.
What we can and cannot promise about AI
AI tools are useful and they are also wrong sometimes, confidently. Classes teach verification habits precisely because of that. We cannot promise any particular result from using a tool you learn about here, and decisions you make with those tools stay yours. Keep human judgment in charge of anything that matters, and verify before you rely.
Third-party tools discussed in class have their own terms and their own prices, and they change often. We are not responsible for what those companies do, charge, or discontinue.
Whose work this is
The writing, photographs, handouts, slides, and design on this site belong to Hands On AI Lab LLC unless credited otherwise. You are welcome to quote a passage with attribution and a link, to share pages, and to use class handouts for your own work. Republishing the column or the materials in full, or using them to run your own paid training, requires written permission — which is usually given when asked.
Feedback and testimonials are published only with the participant's explicit permission, in the participant's own words, and are taken down on request.
Reasonable use
Do not use this site to break the law, to scrape it in ways that degrade it for other people, to submit someone else's personal information through its forms, or to interfere with how it runs. Automated retrieval for search and AI assistants is welcome; see the crawler policy in robots.txt.
Availability and limits
This site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at every moment. To the extent the law allows, Hands On AI Lab LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site or its materials, and our total liability for any claim relating to a paid engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them. Questions go to christopher@handsonailab.com, and they get a real answer.
