How I Actually Use AI
I made naan pizza from what was actually in the house
We had naan and a pile of vegetables from the garden. I wanted dinner, not a new hobby and not another trip to the store. The first suggestions wandered toward ingredients such as harissa and yogurt. That may have been good food, but it was not the food in my kitchen.
I redirected the conversation toward dressings and sauces we were likely to have—balsamic, ranch, or honey mustard—and kept pushing until the suggestions fit the actual refrigerator. That correction is the useful part of the story. AI did not magically know our pantry. I could keep telling it, “No, make this fit the house I am standing in,” until the idea became dinner.
